Getting new carpet or flooring installed is exciting - until you realize everything in the room has to go first. Most flooring crews aren't there to move furniture. That's on you to figure out. And if you've got heavy pieces, bulky items, or a room packed with stuff, it can bring the whole project to a grinding halt before it even starts.
That's exactly where we came in on this one. The customer had a fully furnished basement space - a big counter unit, a dresser, smaller items scattered around - and needed it completely cleared so the flooring installers could do their thing. We brought the hand truck, handled the heavy lifting, and got everything out of the way.
The result? A completely open concrete floor, ready for the new carpet to go down. No obstacles, no furniture awkwardly shoved into a corner, no stress. Just a clean slate for the next crew to walk into and get to work.
This kind of job doesn't always fit neatly into one category. It's part property cleanup, part furniture hauling, part just-making-life-easier. We do a lot of it. Whether you're prepping a room for new flooring, getting a space ready for a renovation, or just need heavy stuff moved out - we're set up for it and we know how to work efficiently so you're not losing a whole day waiting around.
If you've got a home project coming up that needs a cleared space before the real work can start, we can handle that prep step for you. Simple as that.
